In my group of mates, most done one or several of the following-

Had lockdown babies

Spent the maternity leave at home with the baby and mother

Worked from home and still do or do hybrid working

Massively increased savings

Got new bathrooms, kitchens, extensions, conservatories etc with money saved increasing the value of their homes

I could go on.

It's been great for many many people * +
