On a brighter note thou is that enforced loan of 200 quid they were talking about. Has been scrapped and has been replaced by a 200 quid grant. * +

It's actually a 400 grant now, the original 200 loan plus another 200 on top, non of which has to be payed back.

It's a start I suppose but they've forecast that the average household's energy bills are set to rise by around 800 and there are further price cap rises that are scheduled to take effect next year that will only push them back up again. * +
