No offence to you but don't most of those only do research and not production/development? I'm getting at the legislation protection, some pharmas do cut corners or behave unethical without legal oversight whereas statutorily governed entities are restricted in their screw up capacity.. * +

This pandemic has simply come at a time when ppl can see the corporations for what they are and do, lobbying the government's to buy drugs from them while attempting to block the notion of an NHS facility, which would infact produce lower cost and quicker access to millions for a multitude of treatments.. * +
