I'm making sticky Char Sui Pork, the meat has been marinating in the fridge since last night. Haven't decided what to have with it yet, probably just some plain rice, steamed green veggies and some oyster sauce, or possibly sweet chilli

I love Scampi. What do you call a shrimp? In the UK a shrimp is a small prawn. Proper Scampi is made with Langoustine(think you call them Dublin Bay Prawns over in the states) tails, they used to use chopped up pieces of monkfish tail because it was cheaper but now it's one of the most expensive fish that you can buy, so nowadays they often just use a whole medium sized prawn instead, as Langoustines aren't exactly cheap these days either. * +

Why what's wrong with it? It's alright as long as it's decent meat, not some of that grey looking stuff they sell in supermarkets. Best if you can mince it yourself really, or you can choose the meat you want at a butchers and get them to mince it for you, so you can be sure what's in it. * +
