Castoreum is extracted after the beavers are dead.

I assume they squeeze them empty like they do with living turkeys test*cles.

I wonder if they suck it through a straw for the beavers too.

It can be 'milked ' from live animals too but as obi says it isn't used as much these days in food ..
I'm going to visit more beaches tho and look for whale vomit instead * +

I look at the packaging of every item I take interest in.

I Google every ingredient.

Castoreum is still used in the UK. Every supermarket has something with it.

I don't think people who eat burgers and hotdogs have much to worry about, they're hardly fussy about what they costume * +
