There's this guy with a closed-shut 'terrarium' with it's own ecosystem.
Hasn't been opened in twelve years
Pretty cool!

A one hardy plant species (hairy bitter cress) still surviving, moss, algae..
Of animal species: there's nematodes, springtails, generations of wood lice, which are isopods, to feed on the bio matter and generations of centipedes to prey on the woodlice
A closed-system.. all the energy needed coming directly from sunlight.

Highly intriguing..
