The nokias i mentioned had plenty of cap between the lense and the cover. Had no scratches. On the n82 the only problem that i experienced was that the covers mechanism that opened the camera started flickering. But that was after years of heavy robust use. I did get a case that has a lense cover for my current phone will see how it works out. I have dust on my lenses otherwise constantly. Also need to finally plug the usb c port because it gets glogged up. They cant use a cover built in because it makes the phone too thick. The old ones had plenty of free space inside for it. * +

Hate pumpy cameras that stick out also. On my s6 i broke the class on the camera 2 months into using it just in my pocket going against something. The cases atleast eliminate that problem. * +
