I noticed even Count Binface beat the Britain First candidate and that Brian Rose(London Live) tosspot came in stone dead last with 7501 votes, behind even the number of spoiled/rejected ballots(11,127). * +

It was the local village primary/junior school. If you lived in the village then that's where you went to school, unless you were homeschooled or could travel some considerable distance outside of the local area to a different school* everyday or got sent off to a boarding school somewhere.
*most of the schools in the surrounding area were CofE and there was little in the way of public transport there in those days(or even nowadays, for that matter). * +

[link]Speaking of how kids should or shouldn't be educated:https://youtu.be/Ou1TVOvOGBw?si=uT8uegAP7czwmaeQ[/link]. It's a piece by The New Statesman about how the elitist public school system effects the kids that are put through it, that also have a tendency to become our political leaders and people in positions of power over the rest of society.

Nothing new. Stupid poor people often vote in the Eton lot as if they have their best interests at heart * +

It's more about how it screws them up psychologically and how it effects their behaviours and their attitudes, particularly as politicians and judges, etc. It's really quite disturbing, in more ways than one. * +
