I don't think it's petty. I had to go through this before where someone I disliked (hadn't even talked to in ages) reached out to me asking for help. I was in the same 'should I help them or not' dilemma. Mum said you gotta help if it's genuine. She always says that charity repays you in ways you can never imagine so never hesitate, and it shows you got a big heart. I didn't help, though lol. I am 'that b*tch'
Being the bigger person is great and all- but if they treated me badly or never spoke to me before, no way I'd help or give them money. I would BARELY give money to someone I was friends with. That's just bad idea waiting to happen lol *
