I always greet, shake hands as well. Shaking hands seems compulsory in the place I'm working in. We had an insident this week at office about it. Seems our town and office received a visit from one of the top seniors. My female colleague greet him but didn't shake the Director's hand. I heard she was called in the Manager's office and where both the manager and director yelled at her, even threatened to transfer her to another branch. Yesterday she had to email an apology for disrespectful behaviour. Luckily I was away this week for a workshop. *
