Seen those snails online ,they've got patasites in them , apparently there trying to get birds to eat the snail and spread their disgustingness * +

My guess would be a Hawthorne Shield Bug. T'is the right time of year for seeing them as people are cutting their hedges before winter around about now.

The adults do look kinda roachy when they get their wings.
