I think in extraordinary circumstances, she has the power to dissolve parliament and rule herself for a limited period... obviously that would trigger a constitutional crisis that the monarchy wouldn't survive...I think it's more a theoretical power than a practical one ...look at royal prerogative...though it's not very clear if she even has that power anymore * +
