I often tell god to knock it on the head making older people more fragile or worse hunched over, slow moving and in pain.

at least your mother has friends to get pissed with still.
it really bugs me to see old virtually crippled ladies shuffling around by themselves.

Therein lies the problem. They all know she had a problem with alcohol. They all know she was supposed to be on the wagon. So who ever it was who she went out with, was being irresponsible. * +

Thank you Nikkei and Gt, and everyone else who might have silently wished me luck. I think I nailed it. My brain actually worked properly today and I was able to do the thing without anxiety or any trouble.
