So some woman bought a lottery ticket as a gift for her nephew which won around 50,000 pounds or dollars, not sure where. But afterwards she asked the nephews mother for 3 quarters of the win, she said no, so she asked the nephew, who promptly blocked her. Do you think she should have expected any of the winnings? I think asking for 3 quarters is brazen, if I was the nephew I would have definitely given her a nice chunk of money, 5 or 10 grand, as apparently she was struggling financially. * +

My mum used to send my aunty 10 scratch cards, for her birthday. About 3 years ago my aunt won 500 on one of the cards. She offered my mum 250 my mum refused. * +

She should not have bought it then she is entitled to nothing and should not ask maybe then the nephew might have given her something as a thank you * +

I dunno the timeline but I think if she had waited until he had gotten the money and just said congratulations and not asked for a penny she would have been given something, surely. * +
