nod.gif boris and david were part of a debating team at uni, boris just wanted to win a debate against his old team mate. Boris was never a brexiteer, it was just a jolly old jape to him * +

can't remember the broadsheet paper he wrote for at the time but he had a column when he was going to have to declare his public position.
presumably to hedge his bets he wrote two columns that week, one making the leave case, the other remain, enabling him to decide which one to have run once he'd made up his mind. the rumour says his remain piece made the better case. * +
