I thought i was the only person on the planet that wondered why there has to be music on in nearly every shop you go in on the high street im not moaning i am just wondering why and i probably am the only person that wonders that. * +

Years ago I was in a Boarders book shop and a song was playing..it was a cover version of The Dead Kennedy's song Too Drunk To fu*k..by Nouvelle Vague. Some of the customers were laughing and others tutting. Was funny. * +

I avoid shops whose music are too loud. Can't handle it, my ears are sensitive of loud noises, it's too painful. Impossible to answer phone calls as well when music is on too loud. * +

I don't recall many shops having background music here. Record stores and few game stores do. * +
