Yeeep, but it depends on the issue and number of people protesting. How else is there ever going to be a change if everyone will just sit and take the bullsh*t in silence? Do protests have an overnight affect? Obv no, but they can certainly bring attention to an issue and often do help convince masses of people that a particular issue is important. * +
