My Lenovo Tab 2 from four years back is still the best in my opinion. Very fast, reliable, has 16 GB internal storage plus 16 GB SD card. Came with free Skull Candy headphones.
The screen is very 'tough'. Has no scratches - never had a screen protector. The shell is made from extremely hard plastic (if you even call it plastic).
Great HD visuals. 
Have no urge to upgrade my Android OS. I like ver. 4.4 .2 * +
