It's also a form of collectivization against black people. An insult to one must affect all of them. White people are given the respect to be treated as individuals, an insult to one stays as an insult to one.

Coloured people as in mixed race or 'non-white'?
For the latter I think that term is pretty fu*ked up. Pointing to white people as being 'bland', non-exotic. Terms like that perpetuate racism and stereotyping. White people are also 'coloured'. That term should become redundant * +
