An old mate from school went homeless, loved it. Made good money, had absolute freedom.

Another mate used to pretend to be homeless, just begging, would sit outside supermarkets whilst his Saab convertible was parked in view. He'd tour around for which one was earning him the most.

Here in MK now it's very organised, they work together in gangs and share a substantial kitty. * +

Often here there are reports of professional beggars making 3 or 4 hundred pounds a day. A study i read.. a few years ago now..interviewd many beggars across UK cities and found the average amount received by beggars was 4 pounds per day. There are of course a few scammers among the thousands of genuine beggars. * +
