so whats not safe about the new rules by TFL. At the moment if i order an uber i get a picture of my driver, i get a picture of the car and the cars reg number. This is all kept on ubers computer log. TFL has now said they must also give you their licence number as well. so basically you have the drivers full details befor getting into a cab. Seems safe enough to me.

I don't have uber, but we have something similar. Only taxi firm I will use. If I'm going anywhere alone I always send the drivers details to a friend just in case I go missing * +

Of course it's racist. It's just an inconvenient truth that they are more likely to be robbed by black males at night.

And its more likely that a female will be attacked by a male taxi driver, so in both instances its best to be prejudice for your own protection? * +
