I don't expect this to be a topic that will get a lot of replies but curious to hear views. Nicola Sturgeon is the first minister of scotland, a member of the scottish nationalist party. Her father stood as a candidate for north ayrshire council in a by election and lost to labour. The SNP then became the second largest party on the council and abdicated control, including sturgeons mother who was Provost. blood nose or just a red face ? * +

She's decent, but on the back of Michael Forsythe and Rifkind the tories have no real support up here. And rightly so.
