ive had far more than 6 open with no problems, u can only see 6 if u hold the home button, but if u get a task manager it shows u all apps open, memory usage etc, easy to kill aps * +

u can run android on windows 6 n 6.1 phones anyway ... * +

Yep, the built-in taskmanager shows the last 6 open apps otherwise the phones themselves can handle more,had my X10 running around 12apps in background,only realised when i saw my RAM hit 70mb,then i knew something was going on, only to find a whole bunch of apps in the background, thats what i get for letting a dumbphone user checkout my phone lol,atleast it hardly affected the batt. :) *
