I've not seen the dvd - it'd be interesting if only to see if Lynott's expression matches his lasciviously-drawled '..is there any of the girls'd like a little more Irish in 'em' . There are parts of 'Emerald' that make my head go all tingly and feel like it's expanding; which despite my love for lots of different music, very few tracks do - offhand, the only other I can think of is the bit in the Collins live version (sorry Gabriel fans) of 'Supper's Ready' where (with lots of echo and reverb) he yells '666, IS NO LONGER ALONE!..' (it's making me shudder just writing it) it's startling enough on 'Seconds Out', but being in the presence of it, with smoke and lasers and thousands of people who feel the same way you do.. jeez.. there were two girls in front of me sobbing..but Live and Dangerous - a band at their peak performing with such intent it becomes more than just music.

Ahh the power of music when those stars align and make us feel so much garion, setting, atmosphere, performance and delivery creating a perfect moment
