Only ruined in the sense that your town would be ruined if a rap act played at the Town Hall and a rock band at The Acadamy - i.e. not at all. 
There are no security guys with whips driving people towards the dance act on the Pyramid Stage and there are many other stages in addition to impromptu jams in the various fields. * +
