Its a strange one, there are some good tunes but there is a lot of filler and meandering songs that go on WAY too long. The production is just utterly awful, check out the ep they released afterward called Beyond Magnetic I think, there are a few tunes on there which should definetly have made the cut for the album. * +

Picked this album on my birthday in 2008 fking good album, those who dont like it probably not a metallica fan at all. Suicide and Redemption, Broken Beat Scarred and The End Of The Line are my favourite tracks in there. * +

agreed on the awful production quality, they recorded it at too loud a volume and the instruments sound totally unlike how they should because of it, like there's some kind of fuzzy crackling effect the louder you play it at * +
