I got this as a (requested) Christmas present, and I really like it - I wish they'd started putting out this sort of album years ago; then I wouldn't have lost interest. Once you've lost the viciously spat consonants that Waters excelled at, Gilmour's vocal, whilst perfectly pleasant, isn't really enough.
This is a largely instrumental album and has more in common with Vangelis's Blade Runner soundtrack than the standard Floyd model whilst still being instantly recognisably Floydian. Nice. *
