oh good 3rdrail.. yah but c major is a simple guitar learning scale. which is C D E F G A B C.. but after that u can use for ur more knowldge just play pentatonic scale. and hendrix scale. but more fun in blues scale. * +

and more melodius scales are minor over major scale. example. A minor over C major scale. notes ... A B C D E F G A B C D E F G A B C..... B is working like a linker. wich is support to go into the C major scale. just play it from 6th string. *
