the lines between trip-hop, ambient and chillout can be somewhat blurry. I suppose they could all be branched into IDM, which is a bit of a silly tag to begin with. nevertheless, my favourite artists have to be Massive Attack and Boards of Canada. that's assuming BoC is actually trip-hop. lots of uncertainty for me here. * +
