I think it's great, and the critics seem to agree. The feedback on Twitter seems overwhelmingly positive (hashtag gorillaz). It's not the great leap forward for modern music implied by some reviewers, but it's a d*mn fine album which WILL grow on you. * +

I've only listened to this once so far, but I have to say it made quite an impression. I'll be listening to it again later and I can see it taking a residence in the CD multichanger in the car for a while at least good * +

I know what you mean, but give it time, after all.. Mark E. Smith, Lou Reed, the sexy immediacy of the bass riff for Stylo.. sure Snoop phones in his contribution, but there's an awful lot to like. daydream * +
