Mine is the 3G, dani. I used pwnge and it worked well. Then ultrasn0w to unlock. You don't need ultrasn0w, nfx-ipod's aren't locked. * +

I prefer 3.1.3 to be honest. ipod is noticeably slower after update. plus multi tasking with backgrounder was much better!! * +
