Tonight I just decided to have another go, I turned the iPhone on and switched the 3G off, so there wasn't any 3G symbol at the top, reset the phone and whopee! Fill signal, I turned the 3G on and the signal disappeared, so I will keep it turned off, I don't know why this works but ad long as I can use the phone who cares! * +

Take to apple, 3G reception is a known fault with 3rd gen iPhone buddy, hence if took it back n said about no 3G they'd swap phone, try n see wat they say, worst ul get is offer to buy a new one around 100quid off them * +
