I am trying to fix an iPhone 4 jailbroke with jailbreakme a few months ago, it now just cycles the apple screen when you power it up. I asked if he updates to 4.1 be he says no, I can seem to force dfu with the button combo and recboot also doesn't do it. I did for a split second have the connect to iTunes screen up when plugged into my pc. But can't get it again. Anyone got any ideas? * +

Right I got it into dfu with button combos, tried reboot but it went back the same way. So can I use the iPhone 4.01 fw I restored my iPhone with in iTunes? Or do I need another one? If I get it in dfu again that is lol * +

I have it in dfu but it won't show in iTunes for me to restore??? Yet last.fm recognises it for scrobbling. * +

Put your USB to pc/laptop and iPhone hold your power on/off at the same time hold your homescreen button when any sign of powering release power button try it * +
