There are known fairly simple fixes for these games and patches too. Post in the tech forum for help but google and you'll find the answers * +

mostly update things like directx etc on microsoft page. * +

update all your direct x packages from microsoft these errors mostly are missing dlls and framework too. * +

DX won't be the problem if, as the pw said, he has problems installing and not launching the games. * +
