it's news because Xbox Live is coming to windows 8. the no royalties payable to Microsoft is gonna set a fire under every single devs a55 . If they get the software right, this could wipe Steam out of the equation. Can't imagine Sony foregoing royalties when they are hard up as it is, meaning fewer devs will take a chance on the PS3 *
