Emulators are awesome. Only way to play old games that are not on sale. My mother is 63 and been playing nes games for years on her pc that i set up a emulator on with decent modern controllers. Good luck trying to keep a old nes alive this long. Plus the emulators clean up well with the resolution bumps. I got another ps3 a few years ago to play some games i never got around to play back in the day. Most of those games now work great on pc with rpcsx3 and 360 games on xenia. * +

There was a time where i did not play anything for a year when i was younger too. Never was addicted to gaming. It comes and goes. I do like it tho just like i binge tv shows and movies at times then take a break. I do play very select games tho. Modded old favorites are what i play mostly. Modding games has become easy too. With collections you can just download and install like 2000 mods to skyrim and it does not break the game. Nolvus skyrim looks like a new game. They even change gameplay and animations. New skill levelling etc. * +
