Agree I play more gmes on my 1080p 240hz monitor Than I do on my 4k 144hz as even though I never max the frame rate unless playing old games or counterstrike everything just feels so much better .

Yes 4k 144hz is hard to hit. Dlss helps alot tho. Was suprised i hit the 144fps mark in that new wrc game with my 3080. Gsync is great with frames going down in steps. Much smoother with it. My samsung s95b goes up to 4k 144hz with gsync hooked to a pc. I noticed that not only shooters became better but also rally and racing games become more responsive. It really cuts down the input lag (frametime) jumping from 60fps to 120fps. * +

And thats the reason I would rather play at 1080p in certain games and get over 200fps especially in racing games as even 60fps feels horrible after playing in high refresh rate . * +

I cant do 1080p anymore. 1440p lowest i will compromise. Dlss helps alot thankfully hitting the high frames. * +

When you play competitive online games if you can get 240fps it helps massively and the difference is clearly noticeable coming from anything lower . In fact my skill level increased just by playing at super high refresh rate . Single player games get played at 4k but anything multiplayer is at 1080p for the absolute maximum fps and lower latency * +

Thats true. I even got better at rally games going from 60 to 120. I dont play shooters that much anymore getting old and slow and no time to practice. Not easy going against teenagers who have every day to practice *
