Some plot details and a teaser trailer for the new stand alone Star Wars film 'Rogue One' were unveiled at the Star Wars celebration event last weekend.
The film will be set between 'The Empire Strikes Back' and 'Return of the Jedi' and tells the story of how the plans, which allowed the rebels to destroy the second Death Star in ROTJ, were stolen. ''Many Bothans died to bring us this information''.
The short 61sec teaser trailer, featuring the voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi describing the Empire, showed a low level flight through a canyon somewhere on an unnamed forest planet(not Endor), before ending with a shot where the Death Star itself can clearly be seen in orbit from the planet's surface.

Rogue One is the first of 5 new stand alone films planned to be set in the wider Star Wars universe and is scheduled for release in December 2016. * +
