this sort of stuff, playing on an EPIC scale is right in my wheelhouse.
it's another ''unfilmable'' sci-fi classic come to the small screen, based I believe on Isaac Asimov's books of the same name.

been enjoying this to the point of eagerly awaiting the next episode * +

Coming to the end of Persons of Interest. Dipped after the 3rd series but have really enjoyed it. Root and Shaw are brilliant characters, especially Root * +

watched Midnight Mass from Netflix... really enjoyed it (actually got the last episode still to go).

it's like a 7 hour movie rather than a series, kinda like a normal spooky Stephen King show but done to a much higher standard.
slow paced, great character detail and dialogue. it also has one of the best screams ever in television or movie history. left me mildly uncomfortable.
