You know the most surprising thing about tonight's episode (at least to me) was the jaguar hunting and killing the Caiman, I had no idea that anything was any threat to these brutes - my impression was that crocs, alligators and caiman were the top predators in (and sometimes out) of the water, I mean these things are armoured monsters 10ft long with jaws like an elongated bear trap, and this cat comes out and kills it... * +

Well to me, tonight's staggering stat was a locust swarm 200 miles wide - I mean 200 MILES, that's just inconceivable.. * +

it arrived a day late (today) and I've just tried it out and although the original Planet Earth would upscale to 3840 x 2060 this will only display at the broadcast level 1080i and forcing upscaling makes it jerky which is weird as it was shot on 4K cameras which the original wasn't - weird. Still looks amazing regardless though.. * +
