Anywhere they like, each episode can be a day, week, year in his life. They can have cases upon cases the like of Walter White or other hoodlums.
They can basically do anything they like and have it going years.
By the time Walter showed up he was well connected and knew all the tricks, Jimmy is just a small shrew compared to what Saul was in Breaking Bad. * +
