slow moving cgi is OK, like Daenerys' dragons, fast moving stuff tends to make me give up caring about what going on... * +

Seems that some fans will do anything to get tickets for the premier, like [link]launching an X-Wing into space:http://is.gd/MV4yDa[/link]. * +

A second stand alone Star Wars movie was confirmed by Disney last week. The as yet un-named and unscripted film is set to be a Han Solo anthology, charting Han's earlier life and career as a smuggler.
The movie will be directed by Christopher Miller and Phil Lord, who directed The Lego Movie, whilst the script will be written by father/son team Lawrence and Jon Kasdan. Kasdan snr is no stranger to the Star Wars universe, having co-written The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi and Revenge of the Sith. Disney have initially scheduled the film's release date as May 2018.
Casting decisions are yet to be made but some bookmakers are already taking bets on who will be cast in the roll of Han. Early front runners include, Hunger Games actor Josh Hutcherson, Jurassic World/Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt, who is also rumoured to be the next Indiana Jones(so an obvious fit for Harrison Ford?) and the current favourite with the bookies, Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul, who recently set the rumour mills on fire when the official Star Wars Twitter account started following him. * +

They did what they should have always done, gone back to basics. They're using figures and models like the originals, less of the CGI shit that enthralled Lucas. There was a realism to it that you can relate to in some part of the mind.

I really do think too much CGI creates an 'uncanny valley' effect in the mind, and you can't really connect with it.

the rancoor monster was epic stop motion hyper * +
