It's based on the film and stars Billy Bob Thornton as a hired killer/psycho/ serial killer and Martin Freeman as a insurance salesman that people treat like a loser and they strike up an unlikely friendship.
It's really darkly funny and not what you expect from a tv show.
Great acting from Thornton and Freeman and a great script and tone and it's a bit gory in places.

It's a 10 part series * +

no unfortunately he meant Martin not Morgan... Mr Freeman can be seen currently as Bilbo baggins in the hobbit movies... * +

Apparently it's not based on a true story but neither was the film.
It's brilliant 3mel you won't be disappointed, it's beyond anything I thought they'd have as a tv show.
Funny thing these American shows though, they have plenty of gore, sex, nudity, violence but they can't say fk or other swear words.
Watched the from dusk till dawn tv series which I think is good but when they get to the t*ty twister the guy at the door doesn't say p*ssy,p*ssy,p*ssy get your p*ssy here.
It felt kind of unnatural to have that scene but have it censored like that * +
