As a big fan of Blade Runner I bought the dvd when it first came out. Having recently replaced my tv and dvd player, I was shocked by how grainy and 'straight to video' the film looked. Picked myself up the remastered 2 disc version from HMV online for only 3 quid and the difference is AMAZING. If you're a fan who bought the original (cardboard sleeve) I really would advise upgrading. * +

Excellent. Wish I'd thought of that. It's a gorgeous print, the only issue I have is that Roy says: 'I want more life *father*' (this is the Final Cut) whereas my ancient Directors Cut had 'f***ker', which changes the scene to a certain extent, as the expletive shows he hasn't just popped in for a cozy chat about genetics. * +
