Nope, it happened when she was 13. The point is though, that she wasn't being taken advantage of, or out of her depth. She was loved, cherished for who she was, and appreciated for her qualities. That's a huge thing, and one which many people will never experience in life. That's a beautiful thing, I think. * +

So what we're saying here is that someone's only allowed to love someone on the condition that they also have a disability?
It doesn't matter if I'm ideal for a severely mentally disabled adult who has their own life to live.
I will be judged as some kind of pervert, and she isn't allowed to be with someone of 'normal' disposition, she's only allowed to be with someone who's also severely mentally disabled.
