This was coming, with those who abused the whole BIS thing, RIM were left with no choice but to do this, very smart move on their part, sucks for those upgrading from older BBs though. I'm sure those using older BBs will be forced into this at the end of their contracts, when renewing their contracts they will be told that BIS is only for BBM now. * +
