the S3 has the same engine as the golf 5 gti but boosted to 188kw and the r32 has the vr6 engine done to 184kw audi hav done an excellent job with the s3 and the 2.0turbo gti engine * +

just useless info, g5 gti has a motorsport version. its a 2l turbo charged fsi engine which sadly develops 170kw, the opc has 7kw more! * +

somehow, the true engineers from the vwa group-they work 4 audi-found 18kw more on the same 2l turbo charged fsi engine. real question is... are vw's really worth the fuss? * +

People Ya'll must realise the R32 is a big engine without a turbo and for 6.9s 0-100KMH is very good for a 3.2L V6 normal aspirated. The GTI is no match for it and if anybody thinks they can compare it to a GTI than dream on because ya'll only talkin about 0-100kmh after 100KMH the R32 will work almost any car on the open road. * +
