vtec luks beta and quicker on take of. Rxi/rsi wil giv u the economy,reliability,cheap maintanence and way beta top end.i hav a rxi and they only ting i did on da car afta i bawt it was a service.and if u buying a vtec or rxi,its beta if it has been raped,coz then ud know if it is strong and going well.they are rally engines at da end of da day.if dey dnt see 8000rpm evry week,ats wen tings g * +

...rolling eyes at elipsis...all 20valves run bearings,ul learn tis soon enough,da vtech is much mor reliabl. As far as rapin a car go, u xcel wear n tear wen gunning even mor wen u drive ,do tins lyk burnouts etc so pls kp it real * +

iv got my 20v for 2yrs now and no problems.im a member on the twincam forum and 9000rpm and runing a bearing knock on a 20v is rare if u use the correct oil 4 the engine and drive properly.the only ting da vtec is reliable with is the actual vtec system used.the engines are gud,but if u want a beta all rounder,the 20v is the beta option. * +

U 1 oda lucky ones den. Im on those forums aswel,owned a 20valve wich startd usin oil n vvt konked at 160k so i got rid ovit b4 it ran bearings at 200k,wich dey all do regardles if u use edge or magnatec! Da oil froths n da return is 2narow wich starves da botm end.Do u know wot it costs 2do a ovrhaul? R15k. I suggest u modify oil return n invest ina gud oil cooler plus ders a oil presure mod on dat forum * +
