No it doesn't. If your in the US then it does but the rest of the world tend to drive manual cars. I've got one auto, and one manual. There are however autos which are quicker than a manual car like the dsg from vw, even the new auto boxes from BMW provide a quicker car than the manual version. It depends on how the car is going to be used, personal choice * +

The US is a rather large place, larger than Oz and the majority of people there drive autos, however manuals are more common in places like china and japan as well as Europe and I'm sure Africa is more manual boxes than autos * +
