Rite, i have seen a few caterhams with RS turbo engines(1.6 8v cvh turbo) but the 1s ur seein must be 16v.. A good engine to use is the 16v 1.6 zetec se.. Out of the old shape fiesta zetec s! I have seen thes in a few kit car, with throttle bodies and race built puttin out 200plus bhp and revin up to the 9k mark! Il try find u a website that build them! * +

My boss has a westfields with a 2lt pinto 8v, twin 40's and race cam bout 160bhp! 0-60 is low 4's.. But he wants to put a 2lt duratec init out the fiesta st.. And it worked out quite a lot of money to get all the bits to doit.. Like new bell housing, exhaust manifold, water rail, and bits like that.. Think u shud hang on til u find 1 with an engine u want! Wot is the ideal engine 4 u bob? * +
